CHAPTER III: YOUR FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

{Hats & Caps}

Okay. If I had been on a television show, it would be probably My Crazy Obsession from TLC, because of my taste for hats and caps. 

A hat is something that you put in your head, a piece of clothing. And yes: is a piece of technology too, because the human being created it. How do you use it... It is simple. You just put it on your head and congratulations! You know how to use a hat (I'm laughing while I'm writing this, sorry).

I have a lot of hats and caps, and I can't remember exactly when I've got my first one. Now I have ten of them. Of course, they are different between each other and I use them in varied occasions. You use a hat in a formal occasion. A cap is more for a daily context. Every single day you can see me with one. I've won a lot of nicknames because of that, like Don Francisco, Chavo del Ocho, vagrant (because I wore wool caps when it was summer, but now I don't) and many more that I don't remember.

I like and use them because I like how I look with them and I feel comfortable using them (even when some people say that I don't look good. Screw them, fashion police). Is a part of my identity. You can recognize me with that ("Hey! You! Yes, you, the girl with the cap!"). Also is practical and at the same time you can look good. It gives you your own style.

Life without hats and caps would be almost the same, but in winter people would have cold in their heads, and in summer they wouldn't look awesome :(
